On the international stage wines originating from places surrounding Livorno and Grosseto are more and more appreciated, such as Bolgheri Sassicaia, Morellino di Scansano, Montecucco, Monteregio di Massa Marittima or the white Ansonica. The experienced wine connoisseur will marvel at one of the oldest Toscana wines, Carmignano, or Vernaccia di San Gimignano already depicted in “Divine Comedy”.
